How to achieve clean, long-distance, high-capacity, and low-consumption conveying of powdered materials is a research focus for our company. In recent years, building on the successive launch of pneumatic equipment such as the pneumatic sedimentation slag remover and the pneumatic-mechanical composite mixer, we have discovered that traditional mechanical equipment, when integrated with pneumatic systems, offers significant potential for improving energy efficiency, reducing consumption, and increasing conveying capacity. Consequently, we undertook a bold experiment by integrating a gasification system into a chain conveyor—that is, combining two traditional conveying devices, the chain conveyor and the pneumatic inclined chute, into a single unit. Through research, refinement, and enhancement, we successfully launched the pneumatic chain conveyor, which was granted a national patent (ZL 2013 2011 6889.0) and has received unanimous praise from users in the field of long-distance powder conveying.
An air-chain conveyor is a modular conveying system that incorporates an air chamber at the bottom of the housing of a traditional FU-type chain conveyor. The air chamber is divided into several branch air ducts by a main air duct, which is supplied with high-pressure air by a Roots blower or a high-pressure centrifugal blower. Because the material inside the conveyor is aerated by the air chamber at the bottom, internal friction is significantly reduced, thereby allowing the aerated material within the housing to achieve high conveying capacity with a smaller conveying chain and lower drive power consumption. This is equivalent to installing a conveying chain in a horizontally mounted air chute, enabling horizontal conveying with minimal power input.

3. High throughput, capable of handling 1,200 m³ per hour.

1. Must be a powdery material, with a fineness of less than 30%.
2. Moisture content must be less than 2%.
3. Bulk density must be less than 3 × 10³ kg/m³.
