I. Overview

The LZ series spiral gate valves are utilized in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, mining, electric power, chemicals, glass, light industry, and grain processing—specifically for applications at silo tops, silo bottoms, inlets, and outlets. They serve as an ideal solution for controlling flows characterized by significant variability, frequent actuation, and the requirement for rapid shut-off.

II. Working Principle:

It consists primarily of a frame, a gate plate, a lead screw, a nut, and other components. By manually rotating the handwheel, the lead screw drives the nut and the gate plate to move back and forth horizontally, thereby achieving the objective of opening and closing the gate.

III. Structural Features:

Featuring a simple structure, flexible operation, lightweight design, jam-free performance, and rapid shut-off capabilities, this valve is particularly well-suited for the conveyance and flow regulation of various non-viscous solids, powders, and granular or crystalline materials with particle sizes smaller than Φ10mm. Its installation is unrestricted by angle, and it offers convenient operation with the ability to adjust the opening degree at any time. The valve is available in two operating configurations: a handwheel type (Model I) and a sprocket-wheel type (Model II). Furthermore, it comes in two structural forms: unidirectional (Model LZD) and bidirectional (Model LZS).
