Product Center
For powdered products—such as cement, raw meal, lime powder, fly ash, alumina powder, etc.—the presence of coarse, granular impurities poses a significant challenge. Not only do these particles act as contaminants that compromise product quality, but their high hardness (particularly in the case of iron-bearing impurities) also exerts a severe impact on downstream equipment used for conveying and packaging. This can lead to issues such as motor burnout and mechanical damage, thereby directly undermining equipment operational efficiency.
The LC/XC Series Gas-Settling Iron and Impurity Separator is a specialized purification device designed to integrate seamlessly with pneumatic conveying systems. Utilizing a dual-principle approach—combining gravitational gas-phase settling with magnetic adsorption—it effectively removes miscellaneous contaminants from powdered materials, including iron filings, welding slag, and abrasive debris. By effectively mitigating issues such as equipment wear, material blockages, and product quality degradation caused by metallic impurities, this device safeguards downstream conveying and processing machinery. It is widely utilized across industries such as cement, building materials, chemicals, and various other sectors involving the pneumatic transport of powdered materials.
As powdered material containing impurities passes through the equipment, the flow velocity drops abruptly within the settling chamber, causing large particulate contaminants to settle naturally under the force of gravity. Simultaneously, an internal high-strength magnetic core comprehensively captures ferrous impurities present in the material. The purified material, having undergone this dual-stage purification process, is then conveyed to the subsequent processing stage; the retained contaminants can be periodically removed via a dedicated cleaning port, thereby ensuring the long-term, stable operation of the system.
1. High iron (slag) removal efficiency, reaching over 95%.
2. Centralized iron (slag) removal; all removed material is collected within the slag hopper.
3. Low power consumption, typically ranging from 1.5 to 5.5 kW.
4. Ash content in the slag is less than 20%.
5. Requires no dedicated supervision; slag can be cleared periodically.
6. Easy to install; can be mounted on chutes or aerated conveyor troughs.
7. High processing capacity, ranging from 40 to 2,000 m³/h.
1. The material must be in powder form, with a fineness of 15% or less.
2. Moisture content must be 1.5% or less.
3. Bulk density must be 2 × 10³ kg/m³ or less.
4. The material must be non-sticky.
5. The slag content within the powder must be less than 3%.

1. The material processed by the iron (or slag) remover must meet the specific requirements for slag removal applications.
2. Select the appropriate model of the iron (or slag) remover based on the width of the chute or inclined trough. For instance, if the chute width is approximately 300 mm, the LC315 model may be selected; similarly, for an XZ315-series inclined trough, the XC315 iron (or slag) remover is suitable. For non-standard dimensions, selections should be based on actual measurements.
3. Select a suitable installation location based on the external dimensions of the iron (or slag) remover.
4. Regarding the capacity of the slag collection hopper, a volume ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 m³ is generally required.
5. Operation may be performed either manually or mechanically.
