The air-assisted chain conveyor is a system in which an air plenum is installed beneath the casing of a traditional FU chain conveyor. This design allows the material within the conveyor casing to become fully fluidized under the influence of high-pressure air, thereby reducing internal friction. When the casing is inclined, the fluidized material tends to slide downward due to gravity; consequently, the application of the air-assisted chain conveyor has historically been limited to horizontal transport or downward transport at small angles. When upward transport is required, the conveying capacity is significantly reduced—or, in some cases, transport becomes entirely impossible. As a result, the scope of application for air-assisted chain conveyors has faced certain limitations. Since the introduction of the air-assisted chain conveyor, there has been a consistently high market demand for the capability to perform upward-inclined conveying. Consequently, we have dedicated ourselves to research and experimentation in this area; in the summer of 2021, we achieved a breakthrough that has received full affirmation from our clients. This innovation has now been granted a national patent.
The Inclined Air-Chain Conveyor represents an upgraded and improved version of the standard air-chain conveyor. Retaining the core characteristics of its predecessor, this equipment significantly reduces power consumption and mechanical wear while simultaneously increasing conveying capacity and distance. To prevent fluidized materials from sliding backward under inclined conditions, the device features enlarged scraper dimensions and a reduced clearance between the scrapers and the casing. Consequently, as the scrapers advance upward, any material that partially slides back is immediately caught and lifted again by the subsequent scraper, thereby ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted flow of material.
1. High conveying capacity, long conveying distance, energy-efficient, low power consumption, and low operating costs.
2. Capable of conveying within an incline range of -6° to 30°.
3. The equipment enables fully enclosed conveying.
1. Particulate or powdery materials with a fineness of less than 30%.
2. Moisture content of less than 3%.
3. Bulk density of 3 × 10³ kg/m³.
4. Non-adhesive.
