I. Overview

The Bar Gate is a novel type of valve developed in response to the process requirements—specifically regarding the feeding, conveying, and control—of medium-to-small solid lumpy materials within industries such as building materials, mining, and metallurgy. It is suitable for controlling the flow of materials with a particle size of ≤50 mm.

II. Working Principle:

The Bar Gate typically operates in a normally open configuration, allowing materials to flow freely. When operational conditions require the flow to be cut off or regulated, the bars are inserted one by one to halt the material flow; alternatively, depending on specific operational needs, the size of the discharged material stream can be controlled by adjusting the spacing between the bars.
